How Does It Work

First, we will have an introductory session (no charge to you) to get to know each other, talk about your goals and reasons for wanting coaching, and get a feel for how we will tackle things.  If we end the call and you feel excited about the process and you want to continue, then excellent!  However, you might find that you don’t “click” with me, or you walk away not feeling super pumped about talking again.  For that matter, I might feel like I’m the best fit for you, and that another coach might be more effective in working with you.  In either case, we will agree to part as friends.  I only want us to work together if it’s a great match and we both feel like it’s a fit.

If we do proceed with a coaching relationship, we will agree on one of the three coaching programs that work best for your goals.  After we agree on logistics for payment and such, you and I will work together on a regular basis to clarify your goals, dig into the limiting beliefs that might be blocking you, and start moving you toward a place of more clarity, purpose and self-awareness.  We might decide that some homework will help you to better move forward.  You want to start experiencing the benefits of the breakthroughs we make immediately, so working through them between coaching calls is key to your success.  I will also send you a summary of our call via email, with any action items we discussed and things you want to think about or do before our next coaching session.  I find that these reminders are great for keeping track of what we have talked about and what needs to happen next.

Notice that I say “we”…this is a partnership, and is really driven by you and what you want.  We are agreeing to partner together to make your goals and dreams happen.  I’m not going to lecture or boss you around…if we decide on homework, it is because YOU see the value.  If we talk about action items to accomplish a goal, it is because YOU see how it will help you get there.  I can make suggestions, but it only works because we are working together.  What I offer is to see the things in your life from a different perspective, and to ask the right questions to help you think about things in a fresh light.

Coaching is mostly done on the telephone, and are one hour in length.  If you live near New Hampshire, we can talk about doing coaching sessions in person.  I’m not doing Skype coaching at this time, but inquire if this is important to you.   I will often follow up with you via email to check on progress and offer any reminders that might help.

If we work together, I agree to call you on time, to bring my “A” game each time, and to send you emails with action items we have agreed to.  YOU agree to be available and undistracted at our appointed times, and most of all, to be ready and willing to work hard and really punch through some obstacles to get to a better place, meet your goals, and have more successful relationships.  Sounds like a plan?!  Awesome!  Now, are you ready to be who you want to be?
